How did it all begin for you? Singing I mean.

I was 4 years when I started learn how to play the piano and singing . Since that day my parents old piano became one of my best friends. I composed songs, practiced and the singing came easily but it surely sounded horrible in the beginning. A few years later I learned how to play the guitar and also some basic drums.

What are you doing to calm down after a long day?

Lay down on my sofa and just relax... take a bath or sit on my balcony if the weather is nice and just listen to the surroundings (mainly kids running around playing). I also like to listen to music on my vinyl player which is very calming for me.

If you could choose a band to tour with, which band would you prefer and why?

Hard question but  basically any band that is big and well known. Rammstein... Iron Maiden... Helloween... etc. Bands where we can reach a larger audience and get recognized by more metalfans.

Was it always obvious your career would be in music instead of any other profession?

I dreamed about living 100 % of music but for me it’s not realistic yet. I have a day job to balance my finances even after 15 years in the music business. But music has been with me since before I learned how to speak….it’s in my veins.

If you should recommend any artist that isn't metal or rock, who would you pick and why?

David Bowie (RIP). He was setting all the trends, both musically and fashion-wise.

What musicians or music has had (or still have) an influence on you ?

Toto, Meshuggah, Yngwie J. Malmsteen (1983 – 1997), Bee Gees, Helloween, Whitesnake, Howard Jones, Yes, and Rush.

Who do you think had the biggest influence in music in general and why?

Our classics (Mozart, Beethoven, Bach etc) but in modern times I’d say Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Sex Pistols, David Bowie, The Beatles and Abba.

If you could compose one song together with any artist you could think of (dead or alive) who would it be, and what kind of song would you produce/write?

Composing with Max Martin or Desmond Child for example would surely be interesting. The style would be metal/hardrock.

What is your habit before and after a live show?

Drinking lots of water, making sure I’m relaxed, keeping myself mentally prepared.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

I mainly find my inspiration in life itself. Through experiences, travels, news, media, love, humanity, anger and so forth. Life is beautiful! Lets not forget that.

Where do you think your life has taken you in about 5 years from now?

I am very happy with my life with my wife and family. I am sure nothing have changed there but musically I hope and believe Tungsten has grown far bigger and well-known. We are already today gaining a lot of new fans rapidly which is so cool and honourable.
